  • July 2018: At end of July 2018, the Syrian army regain control of the city Nawa after the rebels surrender all of their territory in the Daraa province to government.
  • November 2014: Islamic battalions and the al-Nusra Front took over the city of Nawa, after violent clashes against regime forces.
