  • January 260: A new invasion took place in 260 when some of his hordes managed to take possession of the legionary fortress of Castra Vetera, besieged Colonia, saving instead Augusta Treverorum. Others poured along the coasts of Gaul until they devastated some villages up to the mouths of the Seine and Somme rivers.
